Virginea joined Vista Research as the Director of Technology, Media, Telecom (TMT) verticals in December 2003. Virginea spent ten years as an Equity Analyst in the Investment Management industry. Her investment management career began as a Financial Analyst at TIAA CREF, the world’s largest pension fund and was then employed as an Equity Analyst at Scudder Kemper covering Software and Internet Infrastructure industries. Virginea spent seven years as a Technology Analyst at several other Buy-side firms including Dresdner RCM Global Advisors and Credit Suisse Asset Management.

Virginea has a bachelor’s degree in Economics and Finance from Fairleigh Dickinson University and an MBA from Harvard Business School.
