Vista Research Inc., a Standard & Poor’s business, seeks Research Associates responsible for building a network of industry professionals, conducting market research and supporting an institutional sales team.

Job Description:

• Identify and recruit worldwide industry practitioners and thought leaders into the Society of Industry Leaders
• Provide ongoing support to an institutional sales team
• Responsible for covering a specific sector
• Analyze current trends for targeted industries
• Conduct due diligence on prospective buy-side clients

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree from a top tier undergraduate program, with proven academic excellence
• Background in financial services is recommended, but not required
• Desire to work in the financial services industry
• Committed work ethic and demonstrated leadership skills
• Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Must be comfortable on the phone

Vista Research is hiring Research Associates to focus on the following sectors: technology, media, telecommunications, retail, energy, industrials, financial services, and healthcare. Those selected will gain a deep knowledge of a specific sector by working on timely projects for clients, speaking with leading industry professionals on the phone, and conducting market research to present to its clients.
