James
serves as Director of Healthcare Research Services at Vista Research.
He is responsible for the management and development of Vista
Research's healthcare practice, including industry analysis and
education. He also oversees recruitment and membership of the
Society of Industry Leaders for the healthcare industry. Prior
to his tenure at Vista Research, James worked at The Advisory
Board Company in Washington, D.C., where he served a Dedicated
Advisor to the nation's leading hospital executives. He was responsible
for advising board members and executives of large hospital systems
on clinical technology investments, and the development of customized
investment research reports. James managed a team focused on
research in diagnostic imaging, surgical robotics, radiation
oncology, orthopedic implants, and cardiac and vascular devices.
Previously, James was a Management Consultant with KPMG Consulting
in the Life Sciences practice in New York, NY. While at KPMG,
he consulted to the top four pharmaceutical corporations, focusing
on strategic initiatives such as mergers and business unit consolidation.
